Winter is coming.
The coats are back on. The commute is getting colder. And across the UK, the familiar soundtrack of coughs, sniffles and sneezes is beginning again. It happens every year, a sniffle here, a cough there, one child off school, then another, then you, and somehow every year it still catches us off guard.
So this winter, Cheeky Panda has one simple message for the capital:
Bless You, London.
Our new campaign puts Colin the Panda at the heart of sneeze season, tissues at the ready for the snottiest moments.

A little bit of care goes a long way
On the surface, “Bless You” is something we automatically say when somebody sneezes.
And we think there’s something rather lovely about it.
It’s a tiny acknowledgement of another person. An instinctive little act of care, usually offered without thinking or expecting anything back.
And that felt very Cheeky Panda.
Our brand has always been about making everyday essentials better. As we evolve, we want to stand for something bigger too: celebrating the people who care, often quietly, through hundreds of small actions every day.
Packing the tissues. Restocking the loo roll. Looking after the family. Thinking about what you buy. Most of those things never get noticed.
But we see it. We see you, caring.
Bamboo meets sneeze season
There’s a product behind (or rather, in front of) the panda. Obviously.
Cheeky Panda started because Chris and Julie couldn’t un-notice something: we were chopping down trees so we could wipe our noses for five seconds and immediately throw the tissues away. Bamboo could do it better. So they made the switch.
But here’s the thing: if you’re juggling three kids, a full-time job, and a bathroom that never stops needing things, you probably don’t have too much time for abstract concepts. You care that the tissue doesn’t fall apart mid-sneeze. You care that it doesn’t wreck sensitive skin. You care that your receipt doesn’t double just because you’re trying to do the right thing.
Bamboo is what makes it different. But what matters to you is that it works.
So that’s where we start. Your families. Your life. Your noses. And the little things you already do because you care.
Bless you, London
So if you spot Colin on your travels around London this winter, give him a wave.
And if you hear a sneeze on the Tube, in the office, on the school run or walking down the street?
You know what to say.
Bless you, London.
