Sustainable Beauty: Facial Wipes Spotlight

If you haven’t heard about our super sustainable facial cleansing wipes, then you’ve clearly been living under a rock but don’t worry! That’s all about to change thanks to this handy blog.

 In 2023 we are saying goodbye to toxic beauty, unsustainable materials and unnecessary packaging and HELLO to effective, eco-friendly alternatives. So, what’s so special about our facial wipes we hear you ask? Let us tell you!

 Our wipes are made from 100% bamboo, that’s right – no plastic in sight. They are 100% biodegradable and compostable too! Many wipes hitting the shelves these days tend to be made from a material called Viscose, it’s a semi-synthetic material made mostly from wood-pulp. The problem is, the recent demand for Viscose has led to it being produced cheaply and unsustainably. It’s a chemically intensive process that can have devastating impacts on the environment, local communities and workers! Unlike bamboo, Viscose doesn’t biodegrade either. Our wipes are only ever made with FSC 100% certified bamboo from a sustainably managed forest.

Not only this, but our wipes are certified by the Vegan Society and Cruelty Free International – we don’t just love Pandas, we love all animals and that’s why our products never have, and never will contain animal-based ingredients, or be tested on animals. Keep an eye out for these logos when you’re shopping for cosmetics because testing on animals is never beautiful!

Our wipes are dermatologically tested so you can be sure you’re in safe hands, we only use natural ingredients that are good for you and your skin (and did we mention how good the coconut one smells?!)
