What everyone wants to know (but is too polite to ask)
The way we make the products white is not considered bleach per se, as it is ECF (Elemental chlorine-free). Elemental chlorine-free (ECF) is a technique that uses chlorine dioxide for the whitening of wood/bamboo pulp. It does not use elemental chlorine gas during the bleaching process and prevents the formation of dioxins and dioxin-like compounds, carcinogens.
