Spot us on HBO's 'Locked Down'!
Colin’s a film star! Wait, not really. But we are in a film (and that’s something, right?)!
A couple of days ago, the streaming platform HBO Max released the trailer for their new film ‘Locked down’ starring Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Right. We’re totally NOT fangirling. (Yes, we are).
The romantic comedy heist centers on Linda (Anne Hathaway) and Paxton (Chiwetel Ejiofor), two estranged lovers who work together to plan a jewelry heist at the department store Harrods but struggle to carry out their heist due to the ensuing lockdown placed over the UK.
The film, directed by Doug Liman, takes place in London, and the trailer showed some of the scenes we’re still all too familiar with following the first few days before and after the announcement of the first lockdown: panic buying. The film hilariously depicts a man leaving with multiple packs of toilet paper, and you’ve guessed it already… It’s The Cheeky Panda!
But that’s not all! We’re preeeetty sure there’s a Cheeky Panda fan in the film’s production team, because our keen eyes spied the edge of our pocket tissue and one of our tissue boxes in the background!
