What’s the deal with white vs. unbleached toilet paper?
Whether you go for white or unbleached, all our rolls go through a gentle washing solution to sterilise the bamboo and get it fresh and ready for duty. This naturally lightens the bamboo chips, giving our unbleached rolls their gorgeous, earthy hue—no artificial brightening needed.
Our white rolls, however, get a little extra TLC. We use a process called Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) whitening—fancy name, but here’s the gist: it uses Chlorine Dioxide, a safe, eco-friendly method that brightens without the nasty chemicals found in some other toilet paper brands.
So, whether you love that natural bamboo glow or prefer classic white, you’re still wiping responsibly. Soft, sustainable, and squeaky clean—just how we like it.
Is brown toilet paper just as good as white? Which one should I choose?

Is the ECF process safe?

Recycled tissue might sound eco-friendly, but it’s got a few shady secrets…
- Recycled toilet paper is made from pre-consumer (unused, “fresh” paper) and post-consumer waste (like your paper recycling bin contents). The good: It repurposes some waste, reducing landfill. The not-so-good: The paper was originally made from trees, so deforestation still happens.
- That paper, whether it comes from pre- or post-consumer sources, has to be collected, and transported, which tends to result in high milage. Some recycled toilet rolls go around the globe multiple times before they end up in your loo!
- To get it squeaky clean, recycled toilet paper goes through an intense de-inking and sanitizing process, which means harsh chemicals and high emissions—45% more than Cheeky Panda’s bamboo toilet paper on average!

We’re on a mission to keep our products as plastic-free as possible. Our “dry” goodies—like toilet rolls and tissues? 100% plastic-free. No waste, no worries.
For our “wet” products (like wipes), a little plastic is needed to keep things fresh, hygienic, and leak-free. But don’t panic—it’s made from 30% recycled plastic to keep things as circular as possible, and all recyclable. We love all things green, but when it comes to composting, we like to play it safe. We haven’t tested our products for compostability, so for now, we don’t recommend tossing our anti-bac wipes, facial wipes, or baby wipes into the compost heap.
Why? Because these wipes contain extra ingredients and often end up cleaning up all sorts of things (hello, bodily fluids)—which could introduce some not-so-great surprises to your compost.

Biodegradable? You bet your bamboo!
Yep, most of our products* are biodegradable—because the planet doesn’t need more junk hanging around.
That said, what’s on them matters! If you’ve used an anti-bac wipe for a deep clean or a facial wipe to battle waterproof mascara, it might take a little longer to break down.
But rest easy—when you bin your well-loved bamboo goodies, they won’t be clogging up landfills forever. They’ll break down naturally, just like they should. Wipe guilt-free!

Delivery, Shipping & Returns
Easy peasy! Once your order’s on its way, we’ll send you an email with a tracking link. Just click it, and watch your parcel make its way to you on the courier’s site. Simple, right?
We get it—you’re so excited for your bamboo upgrades to arrive (honestly, who wouldn’t be?!).
It usually takes our warehouse just one business day to process your order, and after that, it’s all in the hands of the courier. Please note: order placed on weekends and Bank Holidays, or after 12 PM, will be processed on the next working day.
Most of our orders are delivered by Evri, and while delivery times can vary depending on where you are, you can typically expect your bamboo upgrades in 1-3 working days. Want to know exactly when it’s arriving? Just click the tracking link in your dispatch confirmation email!
If you think your parcel is taking its sweet time, check the tracking link first for the latest updates. If it’s been 7 days since your order date and your bamboo upgrades have not been delivered, give us a shout at customer.services@cheekypanda.com, and we’ll sort it out for you.
Heads up: Delivery times can be a little unpredictable during extreme weather or national holidays.
We’ve got you covered with free standard shipping on all subscription orders, as well as any orders over £35—because we’re generous like that.
If your order falls under the £35 threshold, don’t worry—standard shipping is available from just £3.95.
We’re currently rolling with Evri for all standard deliveries.
Quick heads-up: The £35 free delivery threshold is calculated after all discounts and promos are applied. So, if you’re ordering £35 worth of goodies and then add a discount that drops your total below £35, you’ll need to cover the shipping fee.

Your dispatch confirmation email will tell you exactly which shipping provider is handling your order. We mostly roll with Evri for standard delivery.

A pop-up will pop up (surprise!) asking why you're canceling—just pick your reason and hit 'Next.' Then, you’ll see a message asking you to share more details about why you’re canceling. Totally optional, though—fill it out or skip it, and then click 'Cancel.'
Don’t worry, your account will still be active, and if you ever change your mind, you can always re-subscribe and get those Cheeky Panda upgrades delivered right to your door again.
Fancy a change? Want to mix things up? Go wild! You can swap your Cheeky Panda goodies whenever you like—it’s your subscription, your rules.

Already got a subscription and want to use a code? No worries! Just head to your subscription portal and apply it there, making sure this gets done before your next order date (as we can't apply discount once the order has been processed). Simple, right?
You’ll get charged at the frequency you picked—so if you chose a 2-month recurring subscription, we’ll bill you on the day you start, then every 2 months after that.

Stuck in a login loop? We’ve spotted a little glitch in the matrix—some of you are getting stuck on past orders instead of receiving your 6-digit login code. Annoying? Yes. Fixable? Absolutely.
Here’s what to do:
- Log out first—click on your initials in the top corner, then hit ‘Logout’ (see screenshot below).
- Log back in as usual through the Account button. This should finally trigger that 6-digit code to land in your inbox.
- Once you're in, click ‘Go To Store’ and look for the big green ‘Manage Subscriptions’ button. That’ll take you straight to your Subscription Portal Hub where all the magic happens.
We know this is a bit of a faff, and we’re on it! Our team is working hard to squash this bug ASAP. Thanks for your patience—you’re a legend.
If we can’t process your order—whether it’s a billing hiccup or a stock issue—you’ll get an email heads-up. When this happens, your next charge date might disappear from the Subscription Portal. No date? No charge.
But don’t panic—our system’s got your back. It’ll automatically retry the payment a few days later. Once it goes through, your next charge date will magically reappear.
Prefer to take matters into your own hands? You can manually update the charge date in your Subscription Portal, and we’ll retry on the day you choose. Easy peasy.
Absolutely! If you fancy a little extra bamboo goodness, you can add one-time purchases to your subscription before your next order is placed—just log into your Subscription Portal and follow these easy steps:
- Select the subscription you want to update and hit ‘Edit’.
- You’ll see a section titled “Toss these in... Try something new!”—this is where the magic happens.
- If the product you want isn’t showing, click the arrow next to the number 1 at the bottom of the screen.
- Once you find what you’re looking for, click on it!
- If it’s a bulk box, the portal will ask if you want it as a new subscription or a one-time purchase.
- If not, it’ll automatically add it as a one-time purchase—because it knows what’s up.
- Select ‘Add One-Time’ and voilà! You’ll see a success message and a new page where you can edit your add-on.
- Changed your mind? No problem. Click ‘Manage Add-On’ to make adjustments.
- The item in the top left will now be your one-time purchase (marked in green).
- To remove it, just scroll down and hit ‘Delete Product’—easy as that!
- This won’t bring your subscription forward or place any extra orders—it’s just a little bonus treat for yourself.
So go ahead, spice up your next delivery without any commitment—just how pandas like it!

Here’s the step-by-step:
- Log in to the Subscription Portal
- If you’ve already added your address to another subscription, skip steps 3-6
- Click the ‘SHIPPING ADDRESSES’ tab to see all addresses linked to your subscriptions
- Click ‘ADD SHIPPING ADDRESS’—this will open a new tab on the right
- Fill in your details (double-check that postal code!)
- Click ‘Next’ and assign a payment method. Then, click ‘Add shipping address’ again and head back to the home page
- On the main page, find the subscription you want to update and hit ‘Edit’
- Scroll down to ‘SHIPPING & BILLING’, then click on it or the ‘>’ symbol
- A pop-up will appear with your saved addresses—select the one you want
One last thing: Make sure you update your address before your next charge/order! If an order has already been processed, we can’t make changes—so if something’s gone wrong, reach out to customer.services@cheekypanda.com ASAP.
